Senior Game Engineer
Full-time, Part-time, Hourly, Commission | RemoteWhat you’ll do
Design, implement, and own scalable gameplay systems and core architectureLead development of complex features from concept to release and iterationEstablish and enforce technical standards, code quality, and best practicesIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks across networking, memory, and frame performanceCollaborate with design to scope, refine, and deliver technically sound featuresImprove and maintain the overall health, structure, and scalability of the codebaseMentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across the teamReview code, technical designs, and ensure high-quality execution across all systemsRequired Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Luau & Roblox StudioStrong understanding of math and physics in the context of game developmentExperience designing and shipping systems in live-service gamesKnowledge of performance optimization (networking, replication, memory, frame performance)Ability to architect maintainable and scalable systems while writing clean and efficient codeHighly self-motivated with strong ownership, organization, and problem-solving skillsExperience with open-source libraries and frameworks ( e.g. Charm, Fusion, Vide )Experience working on live Roblox games with active player basesFamiliarity with version control (Git)Nice-to-have Qualifications
Experience leading or mentoring engineers on a teamExperience contributing to large codebasesCompensation
